Subject
Tesla Medal Thank you
Dear Mr Grbovic,
My name is Mark Delaney and I am the recipient of the Tesla Medal for
2005 at Murdoch University. I know this reply is a little while in coming
(I received the award by post in May), so please excuse my tardiness as I
am a bit absent minded at times. Tesla is one of my heroes and I believe
that he should be held up in the same esteem as Newton and Einstein. It is
a shame that so little is known of him in the wider community as he
basically enabled the 20th century to happen (as you are well aware).
It is great to hear that their are Tesla Forums around the world like the
Western Australian division and I wish that I knew about it while I was studying at Murdoch. I am now living in Queensland and so I cannot attend
any meetings of the West Australian division to thank you personally.
However, please be aware that I consider this award to be the most
prestigious award I have received from my efforts at Murdoch. I have it
hanging at the entrance to my study and am very happy to have received it.
If you could please pass this message onto your fellow Tesla Forum
members, I would be most grateful.
Best regards in your future endeavours and lets both hope that Tesla
finally receives the recognition that he so rightfully deserves.
Yours sincerely,
Mark Delaney
